Terms of Service

1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RosterBound Athlete Services website (nil.rosterbound.com) and the services described on it (collectively, the "Services"). RosterBound Athlete Services ("we," "us," or "our") is a separate service from the RosterBound recruiting platform available at rosterbound.com, with its own accounts, systems, and agreements. Use of the recruiting platform is governed by a different agreement, and an account with one service does not create an account with the other.
2. Nature of the Services
The Services provide education, advisory, and operational support related to Name, Image, and Likeness ("NIL") opportunities. We help athletes evaluate and negotiate NIL opportunities. We do not guarantee NIL income, deal flow, brand partnerships, athletic outcomes, or any specific financial or professional result. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, tax, or investment advice. Where legal review is required, we work with counsel.
3. Eligibility and minors
The Services are intended for student-athletes and their families. If the athlete is under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on the athlete's behalf and provide any required authorizations before we may act on the athlete's behalf.
4. Accounts
Some features of the Services require an account, accessed through this site's own sign-in system. Accounts on this site are separate from any account you may hold on the RosterBound recruiting platform — there is no shared login between the two, and creating an account here does not affect or transfer any data from rosterbound.com. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
5. Representation agreements
Any representation, NIL readiness, or similar engagement is governed by a separate written agreement between you and RosterBound Athlete Services. These Terms do not by themselves create a representation relationship.
6. Compliance
NIL activity is regulated by federal law, state law, conference rules, and school policies. You are responsible for complying with all applicable rules. We coordinate with schools where required, but our role does not replace your school's compliance office or your own legal counsel.
7. Confidentiality
We treat information you share with us as confidential and use it only to provide the Services, except where disclosure is required by law, compliance obligations, or with your consent.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RosterBound Athlete Services will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Services.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated on this page, and continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
